If you have missed Fr. Stephen’s blog postings concerning “Christianity in a One-Story Universe” then you have missed some very deep and insightful thoughts about the Orthodox life. You can read all of them here.

Fr. Stephen Freeman is also doing a series of podcasts on the “One-Story Universe” on Ancient Faith Radio .

There is a new Orthodox blog you should read. The insights of this 20 year old will cause your heart to leap for joy. The blog is Dust and Ashes.

“To participate, however weakly, in the Divine Liturgy as we gather on Sunday, we are richer than the Old Testament Saints. To only set foot in the place where the literal Body and Blood of Christ our Savior is mystically present, to receive a blessing from the priest who is blessed enough to touch this Mystery, to sing with the heavenly angels and magnify the Lord and witness what even Moses had never seen — we are rich beyond compare. Though my heart may be as a slab of wood and my scattered thoughts may lead me elsewhere, I am closer to paradise there in the Church than I could ever deserve to be.”-Posted by Blake at Dust and Ashes

Glory to Jesus Christ!

I can’t claim to have many insights, but I did want to say that what you wrote here touched me very much. I added you to my blogroll and I’ll be keeping in touch. Thank you for sharing your story. I’ll be putting mine up soon, too.

Thank you Joseph.

Ever the sinner,

Blake
